This year’s Solar Power International festival was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Although this may not be one of the most exciting trade shows Frontline Distribution is involved in it is certainly another where we bring a lot to the table. Talk about an industry whose products are fragile, large, cumbersome, and problematic to distribute, Solar is definitely all of the above. Solar is one of the industry that you know is going to be and needs to be huge.
Walking around and visiting with all of the exhibitors this year it felt as though the Solar industry is on the cusp of going main stream here in America. Till this point most of the Solar components have been being consumed by other nations, especially forward thinking countries like German whom have created a level playing field for the solar industry.
Frontline Distribution is currently in talks with several major solar panel and equipment manufacturer including one of German largest Panel Manufacturers and a large Canadian distributor of residential to mid utility grade systems. Across the board we are poised to bring efficient, cost savings, decreased lead times, and a massive amount of reduction in transportation and distribution related damages.
