With that being said it's no wonder I keep going back to Interbike year after year to grow my partnership with bike manufacturer and have a bit of fun at Interbike every year. This year we had good meetings with Xtracycle cargo bikes and it looks like we may be getting more into the growing cargo segment.
Whatever materializes off our time spent at Interbike we are excited to be partnered with a handful of great city bike brandsand be working with more and more brands each year to help get their products to market in a more efficient or cost effective way each year. With 20 plus warehouse and distribution centers to serve the industry and some of the most aggressive LTL freight rates in the industry we will be excitted to provide some very flexible and scalable 3rd party warehousing and distribution solutions for years to come. Jeremy We were pretty excited to head out to the more wake and kite board focus portion of the bi-annual Surf Expo held in Orland o Florida. After all this year we had some big meetings set up with Connelly / CWB Board Co and a hand full of other exciting brands that fit our growing specialization in outdoor water sports products. I see a lot of growth potential to help facilitate exciting opportunities for more and more wake board, water ski, and kite sports company's. Especially since it seems like quite a few of them are coming up with SUP lines which we already have a proven track record of success in. As always we had fun and got excited to see a whole other segment of the Surf Expo that we had never seen before heading out forr the September event. As always with 20 plus warehouse and shipping hubs that company can use on a flexible basis in the US, ahwaii, and Cnada and some of the most aggressive freight tariffs in the industry I think we can provide a competitive advantage to just about any company whom is willing to look outside the box. Connelly had been warehousing and shipping orders out of Western Canada but was seeing a lot of opportunities to grow its Eastern Canada business if it could provide it customer faster transit times and an overall less expensive cost to market. Frontline Distribution delivered by offering its highly flexible and scalable warehouse and fulfillment infrastructure which includes a hub now in Ontario/Toronto area of Eastern Canada.
Hopefully with this solution in place as of spring 2014 CWB Board Co will be able to grow its Canadian prescence even faster! This year we decided to attend the annual Remote Control Hobby expo RCX in Long Beach. Man, let me tell you these are not the remote control cars we had when I was a kid. The are electric powered, fire breathing, tire scorching monsters from the future. So, fun and I think another industry that has supply chain and distribution challenges when trying to grow their sales nationwide.
Frontline again presenting the remote control and hobby industry with over 20 plus distribution points all over the US, Hawaii, and Canada from which they can distribute regionally via parcel and freight on a flexible basis. We are already currently in talks with HobbyKing.com and saw quite a bit more interest. Currently we have set up and administer regional warehousing, orderfulfillment and freight distribution for about 10 of the top Stand Up Paddle board brands including but not limited to Naish, Riviera, Boga, Coreban, Pau Hana, Hobie, Mistral, Focus and more! This year again we were trying to visti with other industry niches to see if we could create the same competitive advantage for them that we have created for these SUP brands.
